PRESS: Sistema interested in acquiring Volkswagen plant in Kaluga

MOSCOW, Feb 6 (PRIME) -- Russian multi-industry holding Sistema is interested in acquiring a Volkswagen car plant in Kaluga, the deal may involve Kazakhstan’s car producer Allur, Kommersant business daily reported on Monday citing sources.

“Sistema is in talks on acquiring a plant based in Kaluga from Volkswagen… Sistema planned to invite Kazakhstan’s car producer Allur to the project,” the daily reported.

According to one of the sources, the deal is also interesting for some firms in the Middle East and China.
